HUNTINGTON BEACH – Bella Terra, the popular open air retail destination in Huntington Beach, is bringing Whole Foods Market, the natural and organic foods supermarket and the nation’s first certified organic grocer, to the center in the 32,000-square-foot former Circuit City space. The first Whole Foods Market in Huntington Beach brings a new dimension to Bella Terra, and will offer the widest variety and selection of natural and organic produce, meats, seafood and specialty items the store is proud of while also supporting the community by selling locally grown and produced items from Orange County. “Bella Terra is a great retail space with a wide variety of stores and outdoor venues for the community to enjoy. This location, with its easy access and visibility is an ideal choice for us to introduce Whole Foods Market to the Huntington Beach neighborhood,” said Patrick Bradley, President, Southern Pacific Region, Whole Foods Market. “We’re excited to showcase all the best of natural and organic foods. Whole Foods Market is working on a new plan for the building exterior that complements the overall architecture of Bella Terra. They are also redesigning the interior space. In addition to providing easy one stop grocery shopping, the store will have indoor and outdoor seating where customers can relax and enjoy salads, sandwiches, hot prepared foods, cold drinks and coffee. Scheduled for completion in fall 2010, the 32,000-square foot store is sure to become a popular shopping destination not only for local residents, but also for surrounding communities. It has ample parking as well as great visibility and easy access to I-405 and Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. “Whole Foods Market’s selection of Huntington Beach is a testament to the appeal of Bella Terra as premier retail location in northern Orange County.
