Join us as we welcome Marina High School’s Jazz Band.

ABOUT THE BAND:

The Marina Jazz Band is a second semester, BY AUDITION class. They perform at school events, concerts, and in the community, as well as going to competitive jazz festivals.

The group plays a variety of jazz pieces and soloing is available to many musicians.  Jazz Band is fast paced and students will read numerous charts during the semester.  Improvising is a natural part of playing jazz – consequently, students will increase their knowledge of music theory.

LOCATION: Pavilion Event Plaza - by Solita Tacos and the large fountain

PARKING: The best place to park is the structure located next to Costco. You can access the parking structure off Center Ave when exiting the 405 North or heading South on Beach Blvd. Walk through Burlington Coat Factory and cross the street to the Pavilion Event Plaza around the large fountain.
