ABOUT THE BAND
LONG BEACH UNPLUGGED is a band that originates from session musicians recording at the local recording studio A B Audio Visual. This studio based in the Long Beach area, creates sound and visual for film, television and multimedia.  Although members have changed, they are all friends and collaborate on a continuous basis.  LONG BEACH UNPLUGGED performs every weekend somewhere within a 30 mile radius of Long Beach.  It’s most recent “feather in the cap” was performing for the Downtown Long Beach Alliance, (DLBA) New Year’s event at the waterfront in front of 2000 people.  Three and four part harmony is the norm as the band continues to write it’s own material along with performing covers from the 50s to today.  Yeggi Watts, Ms. Long Beach and currently Ms. Golden State International’s sultry voice fronts the band at this time along with upright and electric bass player Don Read’ (known in the industry as Dr. Funk), Long Beach’s drummer legend Roger Beall and Arlan, owner and operator of A B Audio Visual.  From dance music to ballads there is a reason LONG BEACH UNPLUGGED is successful and well loved.
